Armored vehicles, high-powered rifles, and suspected drugs were located in an operation in the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz neighborhood in Culiacán.

The actions were carried out by authorities from the Ministry of National Defense and the National Guard in the Diaz Ordaz neighborhood in Culiacan on Tuesday, May 21. 

Authorities are currently working in the area, where they are carrying out other actions.

Data establish that it was around 12:00 noon on Tuesday when a series of operations began to be reported on social networks on 11th Street between 2nd and 3rd in the Diaz Ordaz neighborhood.


In videos that circulated about the incident, it can be seen that the authorities were securing two pickup trucks and that they were being towed in state tow trucks, one of which was armored.

In the operation, the following was secured: 

Two pickup trucks, one of them armored. 

A package of suspected cocaine

Three tactical helmets

25 magazines of different calibers.

500 cartridges

6 assault rifles

4 four tactical vests.


Sources said that the seizure was handed over to the FGR, which will carry out the corresponding investigations into the seizure on 11th Street between 2nd and 3rd of Diaz Ordaz.

  2. Who operates in this territory? Mayo or Chapitos? How come nobody was arrested? I think someone tipped them off minutes before military arrival. If the military is smart they would leave the two trucks. They should hid small gps trackers in the trucks and moniter all thier movements. They should also put small hearing devices inside to hear all conversations. Collect intelligence for 3 or 4 months and then move in. Nuff Said!!!

My comment is that this is the biggest mistake of any group that wants to carry out criminal activities at a high end level such as spending profits on these vehicles and weapons the military has evidence that there is that type of activity they will flood the streets with drones and intelligence
