That whole don’t snitch stuff is a serious issue only at high level security prisons. Anything less than a USP, and you’ll be fine. Once you get back to the streets, it’s “Well he ain’t tell on me”. So if he made it out with no issues, he’ll be fine. There are maybe two or three places where they kill you still. 🇵🇷 being one of them. And 🇲🇽 does as well but it’s easier to hide there because it’s so big.

“El 80” was sentenced on March 21 of this year, in the Federal Court of Albuquerque, New Mexico, to 60 years in prison for crossing 100 kilograms or more of marijuana into the United States, despite having a long criminal history. binational.

In the records of La Tuna it does not appear that Carlos Arturo Quintana was in the penitentiary at any time. The court documents, however, emphasize the possibility that “El 80” was deported, for which Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as well as the U.S., were notified. But in the cold walls of a federal prison, his name would be lost among the whispers of oblivion, a fleeting shadow in the long dance between good and evil.
Quintana, although not one of Mexico's most famous drug traffickers, had woven a criminal network that had spread terror in the northern state of Chihuahua for more than a decade. Known as “El 80”, his name was associated with a long list of crimes that had shaken the region. La Línea, the criminal organization with which he was linked, had formed an alliance with Rafael Caro Quintero, the legendary Boss of bosses, in a desperate attempt to maintain his criminal power.
His actions had been especially egregious, relating to the massacre of the LeBaron family and the murder of journalist Miroslava Breach. In addition, he was accused of carrying out an intimidation campaign against other journalists and the then governor Javier Corral. Despite being identified as “the main generator of violence in Chihuahua” by federal authorities, his arrest had not occurred until May 2018, in the small community of Namiquipa.
After years of waiting and pressure from the US government, Quintana was finally extradited to New Mexico in August 2022. However, the charges against him were limited only to marijuana trafficking, not the numerous crimes he had committed in Mexico.

ReplyDeleteYall need to read some old BB articles about El Ochenta aka El 80... who took over temporary leadership of La Linea after El Chuyin was arrested (who later would be released). He was was a nightmare for GN del Tigre and cds in general.. stayed on offense taking the fight directly to his enemies whether through kidnapping they relatives or killing there leaders.. he held the line together before he got arrested and had loyal people who stepped up like El Sexto another boss now he's out @ chihuahua is about to turn up ! !
