"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
Megyn Kelly is joined by Shawn Ryan, host of "The Shawn Ryan Show" and former Navy SEAL, to discuss when he went to Colombia and moved from crime stopping to "crime committing," becoming part of the dangerous drug world, seeking out the most dangerous places, how he got sober and turned his life around, and more.
hmmm interesting...glad you know about him his guests war stories can be compelling...you ever tried psychedelic drugs sol like shrooms? changed my life and cured my depression and anxiety and alcoholism! amazing stuff.
ReplyDeleteHow would I not know about him. I'm a veteran from the war on terror. It's only natural that war vets follow him. I'm not into drugs though. For some weird reason I never got into them. I guess because every job I've ever had was constantly drug testing us. Just couldn't afford to jeopardize my employment. But I have seen people who knew how to flush out their systems just to beat those drug tests.
DeleteSol:
DeleteYou're leading a better life by not being involved in drugs and drifting in and out of drug rehab.
Not even a toke of green big bro?
DeleteI can report that Sol is not drinking anymore..
DeleteHowever, he's not drinking any less..
🍻
Sol runs chapter 357 of D.A.R.E. program to say no to drugs.
DeleteDon't listen to those weasels trying to get you hooked on drugs.
I have a buddy of mine that was a Marine and he was telling me how most of the most ruthless Marines after doing their time in service how some of them get into the cartel or private security business. Sol was this a thing that would happen in your day?
Delete514 if you have to drug test the last drug you wanna consume is THC. I can get it out in 7/8 days but its tough super cleanse for like 6 days and they gorge for 1/2 days these are 50ng test fyi
Delete5:46 it's always been a thing bro. People have sold out since the dawn of time for their own reasons. The money is really that good. And I have heard of these stories. When I was in gang bangers from California were coming in to just to get the training for future use back on the west coast. Fucking cholos of all people. Obviously they wouldn't reveal their intentions to just anyone. But some of us knew because it would slip out of their mouths here and there. The invites to Baja California were extended as well.
DeleteI saw something similar on an old documentary. Some gangbanger got caught after some shooting and the video showed him doing a military tactic.
DeleteThere were also gang tags found in Afghanistan or Iraq or something.

6:18 I get you bro . My buddy was telling me how they was this urban myth going around how one of his superiors out of nowhere started taking this little vacation trips to Mex then suddenly dude had luxury cars bad ass house and all that. Rumours where going around that he was getting paid good money to train some sicarios. Even in some podcasts both military men and sicarios from Mexico have came out and spoke about how even American special forces members end up selling out to big cartel leaders
Delete6:40 years ago there was a similar story on Gangland(history Channel?) . Could that be what you're talking about by chance?
DeleteJust imagine, one day you shoot OBL and the next day you are changing tires and engines parts in a garage or working 9-5 in an office. That doesnt work for ppl who like to have some action in their life. What can they do??? Go to a government agency, work for police, bomberos or become involved in the game, there are not so much job opportunities for “special forces”.
Delete"my depression and anxiety"
DeleteYou were a damaged mind to begin with. Stop trying to push your anaesthetics on the healthy. When we say "drugs are for losers" that is what is ment.
You don’t sound healthy spelling meant “ ment”
DeleteFact you sound like a damn fool commenting like that
9:49 don't be a hippocratic you did not you a period at the end. Would you too look like a fool.😂

I think the thing that keeps most of us away from drugs is the fact that most of us have run into skinny meth addicts with no teeth and scabs all over the bodies and have no knowledge of what planet they are on, or a heroin addict that sold everything he owns in order to support his habit and winds up giving head in gay bars in order to support his habit.

Im surprised cartels haven’t recruited Mexican-American soldiers into their organization yet. Imagine fighting an American paramilitary armed wing in Zacatecas, hearing their radio frequencies only to hear them in English and not knowing wtf they’re saying and getting the upper hand on you
ReplyDeleteZeta 39 angel dominguez rameriz jr.
DeleteEver heard of seguimiento 39?
DeleteCartels DO recruit US vets.
ReplyDeleteCartels recruit just about anyone that is willing to follow orders and sacrifice themselves.
DeleteI remember my drill sgt at fort benning mentioning people he served with get caught up in drug trafficking. They need that adrenaline rush after getting out of the Army.
ReplyDeletethe story of the Canadian soldiers killing a Canadian gangster in Thailand is pretty wild but at the root of it you have underpaid vets with no income pretty sad situation.
DeleteThey are not underpaid, they are not qualified for an e.g office job. Military and private businesses are different worlds.
Delete945 in Canada that's the case in US maybe different. I have worked with lot of vets from Afghanistan in the Alberta oil fields.
DeleteI’ve heard the AED pays private security companies to steal loads from Mexicans.
ReplyDeleteAED...🤔 Let me see Arica Energy Department.
DeleteHey 8:37 let me check..
DeleteAED=Automatic Emergency Defibrillator. Man I hate it when people abbreviate and expect us to know.
NuffSaid!!!
“Nothing good happens in Colombia”. Go fuck yourselves. Because you do bad things in a place and contribute to the drug culture it doesn’t mean the place is a bad place. I’ve met a lot of Colombians who hate drugs and are stuck in a shitty situation with the corrupt government, the narcos or the guerrillas. You could say the same thing about the United States and that nothing good happens here. We’re part of the problem Colombia went the way it did. Now we’re part of the problem because we’re buying land and building houses to retire there and don’t understand the culture.
ReplyDeleteFace it Colombia has many negatives going on.
DeleteAnd the United States doesn’t? Have you ever been to Colombia? It’s incredibly arrogant and ignorant for a mercenary and a woman who “did the twirl” to shit on another continent , while doing nothing to assist it. What is her reason it’s so bad. A scripted Netflix tv show about shit that happened 30 years ago. We helped establish and prop up these industries to fight Communism. Have contributed billions possibly trillions of dollars to the legal and illegal sides of the war. They have problems there yes, but to just say “Nothing good happens in Colombia” is an idiotic statement to make
DeleteColombia is fine, will be one of my next vacations. And the gringos are always bitching about it is not like home. If you want it like home-do not travel abroad.
DeletePlenty can't even afford to get a passport to travel how can they afford two months worth of rent for a month vacation overseas that's travel money not included.
Deletethere's not enough McDonald's in Columbia!!-I'll pass!
Delete1017
Delete74 McDonald's franchises in Colombia
🍔
938 um its very dangerous. it's fine for travelling but same rules that apply in Mexico apply in Colimbia
DeleteToo much killings there I would get a home built there.
DeleteCartels waste more resources on incompetence than on their goals
