Personnel of the Secretariat of the Navy through the Mexican Navy seized approximately 1,618 kilos of cocaine, as well as fuel of illicit origin in a boat, in addition three people who were on board were arrested.
The Navy informed this Friday morning that on May 20, personnel from the Tenth Naval Region based in Manzanillo, Colima, carried out maritime and aerial surveillance patrols to contribute to the maintenance of the rule of law.
However, approximately 135 nautical miles, or 250 kilometers, from this Naval Command and to the south of Manzanillo, they sighted a small boat with three people on board.
Upon performing a routine inspection, they found packages containing illicit substances and drums with suspected fuel on board.
After counting, it was established that it was 1,618 kilos of white powder with cocaine-like characteristics contained in 30 packages; 11 marijuana cigarettes, and 1,150 liters of fuel in 23 drums of 50 liters each.
As a result, the three people were arrested and handed over to the Attorney General's Office, along with the drugs and the fuel, for expert tests and the opening of the corresponding investigation file.
With this blow to organized crime, the Secretary of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, prevented the distribution of thousands of doses of drugs.
1,618 kilos...yeah ok. Wheres the other 382?
ReplyDeleteactually they fill to boats to capacity not but how many tons they have. 1618 kilos is most probably all they could take without sinking the boat
DeleteThey throw it over board and into the ocean when they recognized the military vessel.

ReplyDeleteI would then retire in luxury to an undisclosed location
