"It is very important that we deploy to the border the most effective and modern technology to detect the movement of fentanyl and synthetic opioids into the United States," Blinken added in his remarks to the Committee to justify and request more budget for his Secretariat.
"We have seen the overwhelming amount of fentanyl coming into this country through Mexico, so moving technology to both sides of the border makes a difference," Blinken stressed in the question and answer exchange with members of the Appropriations Committee.
The Secretary of State stressed as "critical" that the United States, with its financial assistance, continues to build a better capacity to contain its allied countries in the fight against drug trafficking and especially the production of synthetic drugs.
"Mexico is a good example of that, we have significantly increased our collaborative efforts with them in recent years to try to destroy, dismantle and eliminate these transnational criminal organizations," he told lawmakers.

Yeah there were a few peace talks with the Arafat, but they were deals that benefited the israelis in one way or another. As you should know, Gaza and the West Bank used to be connected. Israel came at them with a peace deal and a promise to fullfill and bring to fruition the two state solution. The Palestinians agreed to it, but israel never fulfilled it's promised obligation and did nothing to bring about the two state solution (but still kept land that was agreed upon which they shouldn't have due to the fact they didn't do their part of the agreement) and it continued with their bs. And that wasn't the first time the Palestinians had made concessions for peace, but you seem to either be ignorant and not know all that or you're a faqn clown with verbal skills that knows how to act, or both. I think it's the latter with a little more mixed in. Don't take my word on the subject, do some research and look into it yourself .

The Mexican government needs to show some kind of results in order for the American money to keep flowing in. They also work with the cartels. These government officials get money from both sides. They work with the cartels in order to set up these fake operations where they find drug laboratories. It's a very small insignificant loss for the cartels. It's the cost of doing business. These fake operations keep the Americans happy and gives the illusion that thing's are heading in the right direction. Notice that when these operations happen nobody is arrested? It's staged. He's definitely downplaying the mexican governments achievements in an effort to disguise the U.S Governments inability to influence this AMLO's administration.
