Five were killed and another five were injured after a group of masked gunmen threw a molotov cocktail and shot up a bar in Celaya, Guanajuato state last week. A message left at the scene points to CJNG being behind the attack, apparently targeting businesses linked to a CSRL plaza boss.
The attack occurred on the evening of Thursday, 27 June at the Bar Life on Adolfo López Mateos street in Celaya, Guanajuato. Witnesses report that 6 masked gunmen stormed into a private event and shot three dead. Proceso reported that two of those targeted and killed immediately were employees, while a third gunshot victim managed to run away before being shot dead in the street.
The attackers then threw a molotov cocktail, which killed two others via smoke inhalation, before fleeing the scene.

The casualty toll was previously reported as four dead and five injured, but local news source Periodico Correo reported today that an additional body of a 29-year old male drink server was discovered. Forensic investigators somehow missed the body the night of the attack, but later on, the owner heard a phone notification and discovered the corpse of his employee on a stairwell. The additional victim died of smoke inhalation.
A local crime reporting Telegram group posted a photo of a narco message apparently found at the scene, which appears to have been written by the CJNG. The message reads:
This is how we will leave the businesses you acquired with the stolen fuel, kidnapping, and extorsion, "MAMEY", fucking scumbag killer of innocents. Celaya and all of Guanajuato have an owner you already know who we are bitches.
"Remember that all of Guanajuato has an owner", is a common phrase used in CJNG messaging. Of the 54 narco messages signed by CJNG in Guanajuato in 2021, 45 (83.3%) had this same phrase.
"Mamey" refers to Emmanuel y/o José Guadalupe "N", a CSRL plaza boss in the state and a close associate of CSRL leader El Marro. He has been mentioned numerous times in CJNG narco communications over the last several years.

A further text message purporting to be from the CJNG which was circulating on local Telegram groups, reads:

Attacks against bars and other businesses with extensive civilian deaths have become an ugly hallmark of criminal conflict in Guanajuato state. This attack makes three so far in 2024. In 2023, seven bars were attacked, reported Periodico Correo.
Damn Guanajuato has been at war for over 5 years and cjng still couldn't take out a simple gang of fuel thieves. Even with the state government backing them up and having so called Elites fighting. Now add that CDS is now in the state. Wouldn't be surprised that if by the end of this year or next CDS and Marros have more control of the state. Where is the GTO guy that comments on this post? DeleteNo cartel has a complete cartel over any state, they don't need to control every street in every city to operate safely there. Those who are fighting there now against the remnants of the CSRL are local groups that sell drugs supplied by CJNG and acting on their behalf, the so-called franchising.

CJNG biggest mistake was not finishing up los Marros now they have slowly regained alot of territory back and open the door for CDS and CDG.

Los Valencia/Milenio were a well established extended family that trafficked narcotics since the 70's. Carlitos Rosales "El Seriecito", that's another alias of his and he has an old corrido from Los Cachorros that was released around the time you were born, was a lieutenant of Félix Cornejo who was probably the most powerful trafficker from Michoacán before he was killed in the mid 90's. During that time period many traffickers got along, even with traffickers from other states, because the drug business for Mexican DTO's was expanding greatly as they were handling the movement, smuggling and distribution of cocaine in the USA.
Both AVC and CARM were trafficking through the NE of México in coordination and with the approval with CDG. Paying plaza in some form or manner. CARM and OCG became compadres and as you know Osiel became the boss of CDG.
I've heard, while living and visiting Michoacán, and read a long ass time ago that the fight between Maradona and Tisico was over the theft of cocaine multiple times by a Valencia. Tisico brought it to the attention of Maradona and he didn't handle it. That Valencia was killed on Tisico's order. IDK if that was the sole reason. Recently its been written that war started over a woman who both Tisico and Maradona were enamorando. IDK.

La Empresa with the help of Los Zetas through CDG eventually cause enough problems/losses/deaths for Los Valencia that they relocate to Jalisco.
Los Zetas that remained as support in Michoacán were simple pistoleros that had no business sense and started doing crimes that affected not only the regular civilians but also the interests of the local mafiosos/criminals. ICV couldn't have been much of a boss to Lobo if he got socked up by him. Un derechazo y lo plantó. Had to pull out his gun but didn't use it. After his death his people (La Corona/Coroneles) never recovered his supposed plaza. I wonder why. I don't think you really know what's up, you don't understand the big picture.
