Culiacán, Sinaloa - The National Registry of Arrests confirmed the capture of Rey David Santiago Vargas "El Oso", following coordinated air and ground operations by the Mexican Army and the National Guard in the municipality of Culiacán.

It was at 18:03 hours on Thursday, June 27 that the official arrest status was published, where he was defined as being transferred to Mexico City to be presented before the corresponding authorities.
