DeleteI don't think this is cartel related, This happened in the Town I'm from with Pigeons. You had allot of angry people but some were glad that you weren't getting crapped on every time you walked into the Gardin. I'm guessing someone got bit or hurt and someone thought poison was a good alternative. If I was the cartel and wanted to poison them I would just round them up and do it somewhere else.

but, also, you have to think he had to feed it to all those dogs, or leave it out somewhere, where they would all eat/drink it. So, it would have to be mixed with dog food, or water. Or food. He would need access to that too.
looking for someone with some intelligence or deep knowledge of dogs, maybe someone who breeds them or buys them, or houses them. Has to be intelligent enough to plan this out. it wasn't impulsive, like shooting a neighbors dog out of anger. It wasn't circumstantial....like the neighborhood dog you hate showed up at your house, and you feed it poison. He had to plan this out.
Maybe a shop owner tired of dogs begging or someone sick of stray's in general? My Pitbull Khaine got poisoned from a car treat that was laced with something. there was a huge stray cat problem at my apartment and some old bitch thought that was the answer. Khaine survived though.

Deletestray dogs are a huge problem in mexico this is not the first time it happens, when dogs become excessively aggressive to the point they start attacking bypassers, killing smaller pets and even young children irrresponsble owners further worsen the problem by letting their dogs roam freely, eventually someone will either poison them or kill them by other means, sad
ReplyDeleteIt's horrible, but these culls are often done because the dogs become a danger to the local kids, then the overkill solution angers the people whose kids weren't endangered. Kids get attacked and bitten and eventually, when nothing is done, somebody takes matters into their own hands, which causes division in the community. When the locals in Chihuahua got no help from the authorities they chipped in and paid local security guards to do it. Poison is the easiest. It's cruel, but it isn't done out of cruelty. There was even a story on BB a few years ago with footage of police killing strays with bats, and I remember the comments back then were similar. Young people tortured and decapitated get chuckles, but kill a dog? That's just beyond the pale..
