Threatening Banners Signed By El Ruso And El P1 Hung On Walls In Mexicali And San Luis Rio Colorado

 "Char" for Borderland Beat

JUNE 16, 2024

A few days after an intense operation was launched with the presumed intention of capturing Ruso's hitman boss, known as P1 or "Ponchito de la Lima," alleged members of organized crime placed a "narco-banner" signed by the Revolutionary Forces of Ruso and P1.

The message placed on the fence of an elementary school in the Mexicali Valley is addressed to members of the Mexican Navy, who a few days ago carried out an operation in the area of kilometer 57, of which no further information was provided.

The poster was discovered around 7:20 a.m. by municipal police officers patrolling outside the Ruiz Cortinez Elementary School, located at Tercera and Venustiano Carranza streets, in Ciudad Guadalupe Victoria.

The white poster board with black letters reads as follows:

"MARINES Here don't look for trouble MEXICALI and its valley are calm if this is the way you want it to continue calm your shit down or we will burn down MEXICALI. Sincerely, Revolutionary Forces of Ruso And P1

The message comes two days after unofficial versions referred to the alleged arrest of Alfonso Peralta, alias P1 or "Ponchito de la Lima," during an operation carried out between Thursday night and early Friday morning.

Versions referred to his capture and even suggested an intense operation at kilometer 57, but no local authorities were aware of the results.

The incident was put on hold and the versions suggest a supposed release or escape of the presumed killer of the Ruso.

    6. 3:05 - I don’t know why but the idea of a bunch of armed cartel members sitting around in a circle drawing on a banner with color markers has always been funny to me. It reminds me of when I had to make a poster with my classmates for school.

  2. Anyone know more about SLRC? I know it was an MZ plaza first then Salazar under Chapitos came and took over and were making their way into Mexicali but Rusos pushed back and now with the break up 🍕 im not sure how things stand

    1. SLRC has always been a shit show, it’s a hard territory to control and keep a hold of

      Delete
    2. 317 I was just there in SLRC, the police chief was smoked like 2 weeks ago! Hot! Marines and guarda nacional everywhere! Apparently the government was hitting all the trap houses and oficinas!

      Delete
    3. They drop 2-3 guys a day in SLRC, broad daylight executions, and from what i can see in the city’s FB pages at night you can hear intense shootouts throughout the city. The gov was closing up “casinos” clandestine places where they have slot machines and obvs sell drugs. It is been hot in SLRC for years now, idk who has the plaza now tho, i assume Los Rusos finally took over

      Delete
    4. 524 as far as I know I believe it’s the chapitos that have the SLRC plaza but months ago rusos took out the chapitos in el golfo and el golfo belongs to rusos now

      Delete
    5. 9:56 their is still Chapos in el golfo just like in mexicali

      Delete
    6. Chapitos definitely still in golfo they recently arrested a cell leader there, as far as SLRC it seems Rusos have expanded from Mexicali and are now holding power there and by the reports of shootouts it seems they’re not alone and is still remains in contest

      Delete
    7. Supposedly, the Salazares had a truce with Rusos but that went nowhere, I hear they're fighting each other again. So I think it's still Salas, Chapitos, and Rusos taking out each other.

      Delete
    8. 744 I assumed the shootouts in SLRC are chapitos vs salazares

      Delete
    9. 1246 probably Ruso will let these fools fight it out and weaken then smash out the winner.

      Delete
    10. 151 agreed and then ruso will come in hard for SLRC

    11. 214 I would say he will also break off from MZ if he hasn't already.

    12. 1127 but MZ has the Columbian plug tho and the pipeline from Colombia all the way to Sinaloa and border regions! MZ also has the mx federal govt political protection from law enforcement, cops, military etc! Old, established relationships!

      Delete
    13. 345 it’s been a shitshow in SLRC for years now ever since the mayor yescas sons double dipped and sold the plaza at the same to 2 different groups, I believe the chapitos and the salas! Now the mayor and his kids are living across the border in AZ on political asylum! Or the former or soon to be former mayor I should say! He was probably governing SLRC remotely from Yuma 🤣! At o e point the whole family was barricaded in the police station in SLRC for their own protection!

  3. Aww, how cute of them. They even drew a nice Russian flag. Reminds me of my schools days when I had to make a poster for a class presentation.

  4. Is Ruso independent? Or does he still follow orders from the top?

    ReplyDelete

    1. He runs his own pipeline for the most port independently but overall still follows orders from MZ/MF

      Delete
    2. He still under el sombrero whether its mz or mayito flaco,im sure they supply him and like stated above runs his own thing but ultimately only answers to prob mz, mayito flaco and / or chavo felix , they got mexicali and surroundings on lockso im sure they let them do their thing , as long as he generates big money and controls that border

    11. Yes, your right. Mexican government has blackhawk helicopters, tanks, bazookas, rocker launchers, artillería, grenade launchers, and most important computer hackers. The cartels do have some of these things but government has much more weaponry. Bribery is the cartels best weapon.

    3. 12:11 Released? I highly doubt that but what makes you write that?

    4. He’s done 15 years

The indictment is 20 years old

      How solid could it be?

      Benjamin got 25

      Eduardo got 15

      Why should he get anymore?

      Delete
    5. 10:08 the charges he originally faced in the Southern District have been slowly falling apart.

      Delete
    6. He's a USA citizen. Although he hasn't been charged with murders he maybe suspected of some in the USA that I would think are aggravating factors in a possible negotiation and/or plea bargain. Relatives of possible victims will not meekly go quiet.
Macumba, Efra, Mayel and Gilillo to name a few CAF individuals of P1 rank got from 20-30 years and turned over a million dollars or more.
Tigrillo snitched his ass off to get that sentence and from what was reported by Zeta TJ he was willing to testify against his brother Benjamin. Zeta TJ also reported Tigrillo turned over 50 million dollars, Benjamin coughed up 100 and El Doctor another 50 to the USA government when each agreed to their sentence. Jesús Labra Aviles got the worst of it by receiving a 40+/- year sentence.

    7. 7:03 la mayoría de esos Señores ya van de salida. Original mente capturados y sentenciados a 30 years en 2004. Pero con tiempo servido y buena conducta tiempo rebajado. En menos de cinco años salen varios de la vieja guardia. Mientras el pochas se pudre por vida en el adx, los mismos que puse van de salida. Venganza divina.

      Delete
    8. P1 probably doesn’t have millions anymore.

And yeah Javier would make a great witness so maybe that happens but he’s already done 15 years. Even if he gets 20 he only has another 2 years or so

Maybe some in real estate. But are those the forfeiture orders for benja, Tigrillo and Eduardo or what the government actually recovered?

      Delete
    9. According to many articles by Zeta TJ those are actual sums of money or properties that were handed over to the USA government by each individual Arellano brother. I'll link another one I was reading yesterday.
      Zeta TJ:
      Clan Arellano: riqueza impune 8-21-21
Los Arellanos, favorecidos en Estados Unidos 7-13-15

      Delete
    10. Zeta TJ:
Del CAF, falta "El Ingeniero" 5-31-12
This article was written shortly after "El Doctor" pleaded guilty and several months after Benjamin entered his plea and it clearly states he(Benjamin) turned over the equivalent of 100 million dollars and El Tigrillo 50. "Confiscado" is the word ZTJ uses. Arturo Villarreal Heredia turned over 5 million and received a sentence of 30 years, don't know if it has been reduced. It's a long article put together by "Redacción Zeta" so at times it's a little redundant but nonetheless full of information.

      Delete
    11. I read the US coverage just a second ago again, and it seems to me those are just numbers. It's an order of forfeiture. Like Chapo had the billion dollar one or whatever. I am sure he turned over something but it's just a number for them to try and recover.
