Culiacán, Sin.- After more than three months in captivity, two women were released on Tuesday, July 2. They are two victims of the massive "kidnappings" of families in March in Culiacán.

The women released unharmed are Iris Johana "N" and Regina "N", both 32 years old, who had been deprived of their freedom on the violent day of March 22, when many families were 'kidnapped'.

After her disappearance, the Sinaloa Attorney General's Office activated the Alba Protocol files to locate her, considering that her physical integrity was at risk.

It was today, Wednesday, July 3, 100 days later, that their release was confirmed and the Attorney General's Office deactivated the search records without giving further details, only stating that they are alive.

The release of the two women comes days after 7 people, 4 men and a family of 3 (father, mother and son), were found murdered and their hands cut off in Navolato and Elota, respectively.
