The Cartel Del Noreste (Northeast Cartel) based out of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, announced their arrival in Juarez, Nuevo Leon. Cartel Del Noreste or C.D.N., is a very hyper-violent criminal organization whose footsoldiers worship the devil. The Cartel Del Noreste has now created a new armed wing called, "Chukys" honoring the diabolical movie character Chucky the doll.
Today Tuesday, July 16, 2024, early morning an unknown number of narco-banners were hung in key areas of Juarez, Nuevo León. The banners were signed by Cartel Del Noreste armed wing Chukys. A source who asked to remain anonymous said the following when asked what areas or plazas Cartel Del Noreste controls or has a presence in,
" C.D.N. is strong in the peripheral areas close to the exit to Nuevo Laredo, Apodaca, Escobedo, and Santa Catarina and from there to all the small towns on the highway and free road to Nuevo Laredo.
They make incursions to MTY, for example, and from there to Apodaca Cadereyta and Santa Catarina next to San Pedro and San Nicolas."

For all intended purposes they're not classified as comedy by IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Wikipedia; they're classified as horror/slasher/thriller.

I grew up with those films, and I know for a fact that the people who made it were intending it to be a blend of horror and comedy. The others commenting used IMDB to check the "genre".

Watch them all, and if you still can't see how funny it is that a gang wold use it to inspire fear on the border with the US, I just don't know what to say. Sly dark humour, where the director is having a ball, those films rarely get "classified" alongside Adam Sandler online. The definition of "comedy" on those sites is a joke in itself.

The films aren't comedy BECAUSE it was used by a cartel- lots of film characters would make effective symbols- it's because the films are intended to be funny as well as scary, with a character that later evolved into a joke. Chukys using a foot high US doll with a knife to intimidate men with guns would be funny in itself, but the move was so botched I thought it might be enemy propaganda. But never overestimate the gangs CDN hire.

There are several trucking companies in Allende some have hundreds of 18 wheelers. CDG, and Chapiza dealers have been killed in the past few months. This morning there was a shootout in Linares, and one last night. The ink on the notices hasn't dried yet and they're getting captured. They just can't wait for Adrian de La Garza to take power. He was a major Zeta suporter last time he was in power. Let's see who he backs up now, Zetas Vieja Escuela or Cartel Del Noreste.
