Federal forces mounted an operation in the Loma Atravesada neighborhood, where they secured a warehouse where it is presumed there was a clandestine outlet and equipment for the extraction of fuel.

The seizure took place at 7:00 a.m. this Thursday, in a property located on Gómez Z. street, between 12 de Enero and Proyecto 28 de Febrero streets in the Loma Atravesada neighborhood.

The warehouse was detected during a routine tour and after the inspection, a clandestine outlet and accessories for the illegal transfer of fuels were allegedly discovered.

Members of the Mexican Army, National Guard and Pemex Security, cordoned off the area of the warehouse, deployed and blocked the way on Gómez Z. street; no persons were reported detained after the operation.

Federal forces maintain surveillance at the site awaiting the arrival of specialized Pemex personnel.
