Lupe' Tapia, 'El Mayo's' logistical operator, is granted warrent to be extradited to the US

A judge granted José Guadalupe Tapia Quintero, alias Lupe Tapia, Ismael El Mayo Zambada García's logistics operator, an injunction to be extradited or deported to the United States.

Alfonso Alexander López Moreno, Fifth District Judge in Amparo and Federal Trials in the State of Mexico, granted the flat suspension that prevents Tapia Quintero's extradition or deportation, according to Milenio newspaper.

On June 25, it was announced that a federal judge also ordered that El Lupe, who is being held in the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 1, better known as El Altiplano, not be held incommunicado.

Tapia Quintero was arrested in the Tacuichamona syndicate in Culiacán on February 9, 2023 by members of the Navy.

On February 17, 2023, the control judge of the Federal Criminal Justice Center of Almoloya de Juárez, in the State of Mexico, sentenced alias "El Lupe" to trial for his alleged guilt in the alleged crimes against health and possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Mexican Army and Air Force.

  2. Well what do you know, everyone knows that the law is on MZ side both the US and Mexican government. Lupe isn’t extradited to the US yet Raton, Vago, and Nini were on a quick one way trip the US.

    1. Vago wasn’t that quick but Raton was because of Culiacanazo and him escaping custody already and Nini was the fastest because he killed informants and his notoriety

    2. Ovidio did not escape from SEDENA🦇. AMLO ordered him to be released. There is a difference. Now he'll see the other difference in the sentence he receives in the USA. 300-480 month sentence @85%.

  4. Papa Mayo must have paid a large sum of money not to extradite this monkey to the USA...because if he sang, they would most likely discover millions and millions of laundered money and real estate that was bought with blood money over the years. Nobody is like Zambada and Morales family

    3. *decades of laundered money! Mayo has been in the game since the early 70's. Many don't believe it, but dude lived in L.A for a few years. From my understanding, homeboy was pushing right under their very noses! Apparently he got in trouble with the U.S Gov and split back to Mex.

Mayo was already on the US radar in the 70s, there's newspaper articles about it. Interesting that you mentioned why he slipped back to Mexico, never knew that.

    6. 5:41 yes Mayo discusses his bank account numbers, real estate portfolio, list of front companies etc.,, with his logistics person weekly. That’s how these guys stay at the top. The guy smuggling loads needs to know everything about finances. I’m sure he has the finance guys and lawyers who hide the money packing jalepeno cans on the weekend.

Real leaders like El Mayo don’t stovepipe information. No need to compartmentalize information in the drug business.

  12. Man, why don't these guys ever make their millions and get out? I suppose some do. Just vanish. And I guess family makes it complicated. But decades in a prison cell isn't enough? I guess not.
I heard of a Nuyorican dealer who got out. He had moved 8 million in product for a Dominican. He was scared shitless but told his guy he wanted out. Surprisingly, the Dominican said okay. He even gave him some money. But he told him he had to go. He didn't want him to live in New York ever again. I think the 'Rican moved to Miami.

    1. Plenty do. The issue is when you go into debt or make too much noise. Some of these guys though are in for life because they are far too important to the bosses or because of family ties. Just depends where you are in the supply chain.
