Culiacán, Sinaloa - After a ground and air operation, the Mexican Navy located and secured a two-wheeled pickup truck and a civilian in the municipality of Navolato at around 9:30 a.m. when citizens reported the overflight of a helicopter in the vicinity of Navolato and the northern area of Culiacán.
Minutes later, the Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) reported the results.
“In patrols and aerial reconnaissance overflights in Navolato, it is known that elements of the Secretary of the Navy of Mexico located and secured a two-wheel drive truck and a civilian, more information is awaited.”
Neighbors from Culiacan and Navolato state that the helicopter has been flying over the skies for more than half an hour and continues to carry out surveillance patrols.
