The State Prosecutor's Office was able to bring to trial ten people who were detained by members of the National Guard, after an operation in which two men who had been deprived of their freedom were released and another was found dead.

They are Kevin M., who also goes by the name of Lennin R., David Alejandro A., Gustavo Ángel N., Christopher Aarón D., Juan Manuel A., Oscar Iván J., Erick D., Luis Alberto R., Ricardo Augusto T. and Armando G., who, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, must remain in custody for one year as a precautionary measure.

On September 18, members of the GN received a report about gunshots and people carrying firearms on a ranch located in the community of Estanzuela, in the municipality of Teuchitlán.

Upon arrival of the uniformed officers, they were met with gunshots, however, they managed to counteract the aggression and detain ten subjects; upon entering the place, they located two men who were deprived of their liberty and a dead man.

They also seized a Honda Pilot vehicle with overlapping license plates, an Acura MDX, a Ford F150 Xlt pickup truck, a Freightliner pickup truck, a blue Toyota Hilux, a white Ford vehicle, a blue Italika motorcycle without license plates, 5 rifle-type firearms, 2 9mm caliber handguns, several long and short gun magazines, 5 ballistic vests, 4 ballistic plates, a bucket with star-shaped metal objects, among other objects.

The first responders requested the command and guidance of the agent of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the FEPD, who ordered that the ten persons be promptly brought to custody and, upon completing the investigation file, prosecuted them for the crimes of disappearance committed by private individuals, aggravated disappearance committed by private individuals, aggravated homicide, attempted homicide, crimes committed against representatives of the authority, possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the army, navy and air force.

  2. This is a kidnap extortion ransom team working on behalf of Menchos CJNG. Since they are facing justice in Jalisco they will most likely only serve about three or four months before being released to commit more crimes. Mencho controls the judicial system in Jalisco. Look at what happened to Mencho brother Don Rodo after he was captured. What the national guard members should have done was take these captured criminals to a secluded area and shot them all in the head and claim self defense. Nuff Said!!!

    1. 11:07 - Don Rodo wasn’t facing justice in Jalisco. He was facing justice in Mexico City and ended up getting released by a judge. Also, kidnapping/disappearance is one of the most severe crimes a person can be convicted of in Mexico. If law enforcement can get the two kidnapped individuals who they rescued to testify against their kidnappers, the 10 kidnappers could end up serving a long time behind bars. But I do agree that it would have been better if the National Guard just eliminated them once and for all.
