"Char" for Borderland Beat

The bodies of five murdered men were found at the southern exit of Culiacán, in the same place where five bodies were found on Sunday.
The bodies were found around 13:00 hours this Saturday, in the vicinity of the Splash Club, located on the International Highway Mexico 15.
The bodies were left on the sidewalk of some warehouses, each with a hat on their heads and their hands handcuffed behind their backs.
Last Sunday in the same place five bodies were also found with hats on their heads.
So far the victims have not been identified.

DeleteMany posters say the gvt is on Mayo cartel side. Mayo's and Chapitos both have gvt officials, police and military on their payrolls. I would say, though, Gov. Rocha, after being a player in the back-stab-of-the-century, has the most to lose if Mayo's are clear cut winners, so whatever influence Rocha has, locally and federally, would tilt towards the Chapitos. The recent hack of a gvt website with threats towards Rocha would confirm he has a major problem with the Mayo faction!

It was very strange the way they caught and killed M1..Even the mantas accused Mayo of leaving him to his fate at the time
@1454 if you weren't around to see/read what happened with M1 let you put you up to speed. His son was taken out by BLO. M1 went mental and bloodthirsty (understandably) and spun out of control kidnapping and murdering everyone related to BL bringing lots of heat to himself. Govt. caught him slipping and he went out guns blazing. No body was sent to help by Mayo. So, leaving him to his gate and throwing him to the wolves are two completely different scenarios.

DeleteHaving family from Pueblos Unidos, Sinaloa its saddens me to see brother killing brother. Pueblos Unidos is MZ territory since at least the 80's because El Alamo, El Salado are 15 minutes away on the old way highway going from Culiacan to Mazatlan. Damasos also had presence their for a while as El Dorado is close too. But dont get this twisted, these are serious and dangerous groups that have money, weapons and entire rancherias under their control.
