Attorney General Assures That 'El Mayo' Was Kidnapped In Culiacan And Taken To The U.S.

OCTOBER 29, 2024

Alejandro Gertz Manero, head of Mexico's Attorney General's Office, assured that “it is proven” that Ismael el Mayo Zambada was kidnapped in Culiacán and that the United States allowed the entry of an aircraft with cloned license plates.

During President Claudia Sheinbaum's morning conference, which the Attorney General attended for the first time, he was questioned about the arrest of the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.

He specified that after being kidnapped in Culiacán, “he arrived by plane to a border city in the United States”, and added that, “the entry of any plane and any person are regulated by North American Law and the vehicle has to be identified, which in this case is the plane”.

Gertz Manero added that the license plate of the plane in which Zambada was transported was cloned.

“The pilot has to be fundamentally identified, because no pilot, no aircraft, can enter a U.S. border airport if it does not meet a series of requirements, these requirements are mandatory for everyone, that is what we are asking for,” he added.

  1. Then the fucking mexican government should've done their job on taking down mayo instead of becoming more rich and greedy. Now the people of sinaloa are suffering the consequences.

    9. The only reason cartels are accepted here is since the justice system is so broken and won't do shit when a man is beating his wife and kids, or rapes a woman. He gets one talking to by the cartel and never even thinks of straying again or knows he won't be on this earth much longer. If the government fixes this so people don't wait years for a hearing and revictimizing the victims, the cartel wouldn't have as much support. The government intentionally slacked and allowed the cartel to be their enforcement here and allow their power and influence to grow so the people rely on them to get shit done. Now the government has illustrated they have absolutely no control over the circus they let the monkeys run and have to overhaul the system.

    12. @7.48. I was going to ask you how Trump will "clean it up now", but the problem with asking questions like that is you have to reframe bullshit definitions- Trump won't attack organised crime groups in Mexico because he can't, and he knows it. Dipshits vote for him because they don't know it.

    4. Negative. Mayo has always been seen in Sinaloa as the guy that negotiated wars along with el azul, who was the guy that took Mayo under his wing in the 80’s and also tried to stabilize el chapo’s warring factor, because chapo was that guy that actually went out of state to fight for plaza’s with no fear simply because he could, had the men and backed by mayo’s political and military protection. Chapo just went out to cities too often and would leave the Sierra extremely confident. His kids learned from him and do the same, well they did, now they are in hiding in the sierras. It has recently been stated that mayito flaco had been pushing for a war against chapitos but mayo was the one working things out with his son in order to avoid this. Mayito flaco has it going against them for years already, since Ivan started taking out the zambada structure in Culiacan especially the zambada hitters with their own hitman cells, look back at the important zambada guys that were ántrax who we thought were wacked by blo but was actually Ivan and his subordinates doing the hits. Supposedly chino was to comeback to zambadas structure but was wacked by Guzman with the pretense he was looking to turn in zambada, but he held too much influence in Culiacán who the kids saw as a threat.

  28. If Mayo and the Chapitos in custody start talking they would have direct, and timely, knowledge of all the top people in the military and government on their payroll. The fentanyl deaths in the USA is rapidly approaching more that all USA military deaths in the 20th century. If/when Trump is elected he may very well follow through with declaring the major cartels terrorist organizations. That means all US government originations will line up against them and their associates, on both sides of the border. I suspect this is the Mexican governments great fear.
By the way, how's the Peso holding up these days?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Declaring them terrorist organizations would probably look a lot like the formula used in the Middle East. HUMINT/SIGINT collection followed by raids on high value targets, rinse and repeat. JSOC has been perfecting this craft for decades and there are certainly some politicians here that would love to turn them loose. As much as I’d have no problem with them stacking bodies of cartel members, it will ultimately change nothing. Our demand necessitates supply and someone will always do it. Unless we can figure out how to bomb Mexico out of poverty, military action will change nothing other than the body count and price of drugs.

  30. Unrelated but I feel you bb guys need to know this because I see others speaking on this as if they're really insiders.
In Durango, Dgo there is no cobro de piso. This extends to the surrounding municipalities. After purging chapitos recently I can say I know it extends at least to San Dimas - Nombre de Dios - Canatlán. I can't specify more than that. These cabrera have a way that you can't go around calling yourself an insider. The terrain doesn't permit it. You can be tracked down just by the places you know. Yes, they have their own well established businesses including expendios but they don't even overcharge after hours.
This system in place is rooted in the z times. The entire highlands are monitored. Kill zones dot the highways. The population is happy with this and ready to turn in anybody that wants to change anything.
The only people that will say they're being extorted are family of some tweakers that fucked up and are made to repay all damages including administrative costs depending on their attitude when billed.
