The area was heavily guarded by dozens of elements of the State Prosecutor's Office. Prosecutor Luis Joaquín Méndez Ruiz also arrived to head the investigations, but left without making any statements.

ReplyDeleteJaime was a very well liked person by everyone he ever worked with. I met him a few times and he was a stand up guy. He was also responsible in in estimating the murder of Aristóteles Sandoval. The former Governor of Jalisco and actually put some people in jail for it. My guess is that it was in retaliation for all of the pressure he put on the people that killed him which could’ve been CDS or CJNG. Even some of the people I’ve spoken to who may have some knowledge onto this, have no idea which one it was. Sandoval was Governor at a time when CJNG was taking over the state and CDS had tons of business interests inside of Guadalajara. As someone in the current cabinet told me, “you can’t please everyone”. Saludos desde Zacoalco de Torres perros!!
