An undetermined group of criminals subdued eight people, six drivers and two security guards to flee in an unknown direction with six gondolas loaded with gold, silver, zinc and lead concentrates, each weighing approximately 40 tons, on federal highway 54, near the community of San Tiburcio, Zacatecas.
The attackers attacked the drivers and two private security agents who were guarding the convoy.
They then unhooked the trucks' gondolas and presumably transferred them to other tractor-trailers, with which they fled in the direction of the port of Manzanillo, Colima.
The Mesa Estatal de Construcción de Paz reported that the tractor-trailers carrying the minerals had left the Peñasquito mine, the largest gold producer in the country, located in the municipality of Mazapil.
In a joint press conference, the Army, the National Guard, the Security Secretariat and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Zacatecas confirmed the theft, although they stated that the total value of the stolen goods has not yet been determined.
Inside job.
ReplyDeleteEverything is down there…
DeleteMeanwhile, just one ton of gold alone is worth $78,000…. Notice how they don’t mention the value either lol…. If just half that load was gold, it’d be worth almost $9.4million…
Obviously gvt agents are getting a cut of the theft. No way 6 semis loaded with ore could not be spotted by the police as they made their escape. Perhaps, the Mayos needed the $$$ as war is expensive and will forego the substanially less protection $$$! If it wasn't Mayos it was whoever was recieving protection $$$.
DeleteDuhhhhh
Delete@1:37
DeleteA ton of 24k gold is about $80,000,000 not 74k.
Inside job

DeleteThis had to be Flechas right? You see guys. It's better to steal from the rich than to extort poor working people like CJNG does. Nuff Said!!!
ReplyDelete@2337 hrs.: "You see guys. It's better to steal from the rich than to extort poor working people like CJNG does. Nuff Said!!!"
DeleteAmen.
FF71
But why head in direction of Jalisco territory?
DeleteComandante Chihuas de los Flechas pulled this off.
DeleteActually this will decrease investors confidence in investing in Mexicos and therefore it would negatively effect the working class. Not a good look for Mexico 1137.
DeleteLol you are right but we shall see in the incoming days . Most people don’t understand or are oblivious . The war in Zacatecas is mostly for the mines . But you don’t want the gringos or Canadian to know that.
DeleteGringos really need mexico lmfao, gringos could care less aba it..Mexicans did this shit leave the gringos out of mexico
DeleteLos Cabrera/MZ control that area… more likely a job done with inside help… maybe the govt was bribed to look just sec later in the search… these dudes are the next target of the US…

ReplyDeleteI bet the Canadian/us mining company has a Mexican insurer that is not very happy right now. Awesome score. Nuffy Said!!!
ReplyDeleteHow the fuc- does 240 tons of gold get stolen ..... Retarded motherfuc-ers
ReplyDeleteIt will probably just be ore so the total of precious metals will be a lot less
ReplyDelete240 tons of concentrates (50% pure?) would need a serious smelting facility to produce actual ingots.
ReplyDeleteWhich the cartels likely have access to…
