On Thursday, Army and National Guard forces captured Omar Felix Loaiza, alias “El Pelon” or “El 08”, who is accused of being the head of Los Chapitos in Sonora and of coordinating the criminal group's offensive against the Los Mayos faction since September 19.
He is also identified as a generator of violence in Baja California, according to the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, Felix Loaiza coordinated in those states, “the cross-border trafficking of drugs, migrants and weapons, in addition to the production and marketing of fentanyl, bound for Arizona, United States, among other crimes such as kidnapping and extortion”.
The arrest was made after, “with the information gathered and evidence obtained, a control judge issued a search warrant to search a home located on Guadalajara Street in the Las Quintas neighborhood, where after corroborating his identity, an arrest warrant was served for organized crime with the purpose of committing crimes against health in the form of drug trafficking, firearms trafficking and human trafficking”.
According to the head of the SSPC, Omar García Harfuch, the arrest was made in coordination with the Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the National Guard (GN) and the Attorney General's Office (FGR).
Government information states that “between August 6 and September 19 he remained in Sonora until, after suffering a murder attempt in General Plutarco Elías Calles, he returned to Sinaloa, possibly due to the beginning of the conflict between Los Chapitos and Los Mayos”, due to the kidnapping and delivery to US authorities of Ismael el Mayo Zambada García.

Deleteno que el gobierno esta con los chapo zetas? otro regalito para ivana
ReplyDeleteBoth factions feeling the pressure from the government. So what do they do? is turn in their own people. They already have a replacement in line. This gives pressure off .
ReplyDeleteRIP Gilbertona
Us marine killed in his territory and parents guest at presidential rally. Likely turned in by his own.

DeletePuro Durango!🦂
ReplyDeleteWas there a firefight ? This man is a plaza boss ! Heavy and long tenure in the business.
ReplyDeleteNo shots fired.
Delete"El Primo" is now the new jefe de plaza for La Chapiza. He will recieve manpower and military support from CJNG as part of their working pact.
ReplyDeleteNegative
DeleteLike I said. Someone already took his place. Never ending cycle. Death penalty needed in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteHe’s lucky he didn’t get killed
ReplyDeleteSo this guy is a mid level guy at best. He is not even in sinaloa where his bosses are in a war with the mayo faction.
ReplyDeleteHe was de plaza boss of Sonoyta a border town. About a month ago they were kicked out of Sonoyta.
DeleteWas caught in culiacan with no shots fired. Story says he was in sonora until an attempt on his life then he relocated to sinaloa. A us marine was killed in his territory about a month ago or so. Likely turned in by his own for heating the border square, better than a long drawn out excruciating dirt nap I guess. There are stories on borderland beat a while back about him and his importance to chapitos when they split with los cazadores. He was also allegedly participating in the fighting in culiacan.
DeleteWho kicked them out? Memo retired and his boy Cuzas got captured? Guano had people in Sonoyta yrs ago.
DeletePinche looser!
ReplyDeleteLook like El Chuyin from La Linea did die. Apparently La Linea betrayed him like he betrayed others hahaha.
ReplyDeleteParece que El Chuyin si lo mataron.
Lo traicionaron a el como este traiciono a otros jajaja.
Woah… big hit!
DeleteAnd tomorrow he will be set free by a stupid judge.

DeleteBilly da Jean did you want me to have a heart attack or just laugh?
DeleteThis pendejo was responsible for that marine's death. He's toast -- I'm sure he'll be gifted to the gabachos.
ReplyDeleteThat US Marine would bring in bullets and rifles for the Salazars. Thats why he was killed. Not for being a Marine.
DeleteI wonder why the Marine was driving through nogales/santaana/altar to rocky point instead of from Tucson to sonoyta then Rocky point. Which is the shortest and safest route. They went after him for a reason.
DeleteIt's a common route for people coming from Tucson and Nogales, no? Sonoyta is the route from Phx. I would not recommend either route right now, though.
DeleteThat’s why they got him, it was the Marine’a death, he fucked up.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the marines death? In Culiacan?
ReplyDeleteThe Marines death was between Santa Ana Sonora and Altar or between Altar and Caborca. Which is not considered a safe corridor. Safest route to Puerto Peñasco/Rocky Point is from Tucson to Sonoyta then rocky point. Or Phoenix to Sonoyta then rocky point. Because most of the route is in the US. The other route is longer and you take much more risk because you travel through Altar/pitiquito/caborca and rhe highway from caborca to sonoyta is also shit. Safest is sonoyta straight to rocky point
DeleteNo, his group of lacras killed a retired US marine near Caborca or Santa Ana driving through with his novia and suegra. Rumor is that the marine was running guns, but maybe he just didn't stop at one of the narco retenes. Quien sabe? In any event, don't kill gringos, especially retired military, it's bad for business. All of northern Sonora is a hot mess these days, and I think this is the third murdered gringo near Caborca in the last month or two with another car of Mexican tourists getting shot too recently.
