Culiacán, Sinaloa. - On Saturday morning, banners appeared in different parts of the city with various accusations, targeting a director of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) in Sinaloa.
The messages point to alleged corruption links between the official and a criminal group, mentioning that he allegedly facilitated the release of detainees and handed over seized assets.
One of these banners was placed on the Miguel Hidalgo bridge on Alvaro Obregon Avenue, where the accusatory text details how the official allegedly provided protection and manipulated legal proceedings in favor of certain interests.
The banners also suggest that the supposed incineration of seized drugs could be a front, urging a thorough investigation into the real whereabouts of the drugs and a review of the bank accounts of the official and his close family members.
The message reads: “Federal government, pay attention to your agencies and elements because they do not make public these arrests and seizures,” referring to that of an alleged criminal leader linked to the Sinaloa Cartel.
This type of message is not new in Culiacan. On other occasions they have been used to target and delegitimize opposing groups. In addition, organized crime has employed other strategies, such as dropping flyers from airplanes, in order to spread similar accusations.

Who cares if they rat/snitch on each other, there are cartel members ready to take their place, never ending cycle. Death penalty needed in Mexico, the cartels have the death penalty. Very shamefull Mexican people are stupid, just good for farming and cooking food.

In order to give the impression that the state is fighting cartels they stage a bust. Everyone is in on it. The government arrests cartel members with drugs and guns. They do a big news conference showing off the detained criminals and drugs. Soon after the drugs and guns are returned to the criminals in secret. They burn bags with flower and not cocaine. A corrupt judge then files a motion to release the criminals from jail because of a technicality. Mexico is a joke. Trump will return all of your criminals living in America. Nuff Said!!!
