The Regional Livestock Union of Sinaloa (UGRS) confirmed the official cancellation of the Culiacan 2024 Livestock Fair. The news was communicated through the official communication channels of the UGRS itself.

Through this official communication, it is specified that the current conditions do not allow to ensure the economic profitability of the event, and they point out that it has been a difficult decision.

They confirm the cancellation

They clarify that the cancellation does not mean the end of the traditions or the identity of the Sinaloa cattle ranchers, but rather an act of responsibility and respect for all those involved.

It should be recalled that, in recent days, an attack with bullets was committed against one of the fair's ticket offices, and this Sunday a banner with a message containing threats was found if the event was not cancelled.

So far there has been no information regarding the realization or cancellation of the Palenque de Culiacán.

  1. I wonder if this event was sponsored by Chapos. From my understanding, Roberto Tapia, the grand Marshall of the event, or whatever you want to call him, was or is compadres with Ivan. I've also noticed a lot of youtubers and artist from Culiacan have left and are living in other places. They claim insecurity but I suspect it may be their ties to particular feuding factions.
