Handmade explosive device left in a sushi restaurant in Tres Ríos, Culiacán.

The perpetrators also opened fire against the facade of the establishment.

Armed civilians left a suspected explosive device outside a Sushi restaurant at the Tres Rios branch in Culiacan, on Thursday morning, November 28th.

The subjects also opened fire at the building, leaving one of the walls damaged with multiple bullet impacts.

The events occurred around 06:00 hours when citizens reported to 911 that they had heard gunshots in the Tres Rios and Isla Musala sector of the Sinaloa capital.

Firefighters from Culiacan arrived at the scene, who were working to extinguish the fire; however, when they heard gunshots, they left the area immediately.

Subsequently, security forces from the three levels of government came to secure the area and firefighters were able to return to finish their work and control the fire.

Simultaneously, there was an attack on the Ranch Roll Tres Ríos branch, where they opened fire on the façade and left a suspected homemade explosive device, which failed to explode when it was extinguished with a fire extinguisher.

Four dead and 4 wounded in shooting attack at a “jugada” in Culiacán

The attack took place at a beer stand used as a clandestine mini-casino.

Four men were killed and four more were wounded during a shooting attack at a beer and “jugada” stand located in the railroad neighborhood south of Culiacán.

The incident took place minutes before 1:00 a.m. this Thursday morning at a convenience store located on Pablo Macías Valenzuela Street, between Macario Gaxiola and Benjamín Hill Avenues.

Reports indicate that those present were chatting and playing at the gambling machines when a group of armed men arrived and shot at them with a high-powered weapon.

After the aggression, the criminals fled without being located.

The “play” has video surveillance cameras whose images will be secured by investigation personnel to locate the criminals.

This is the second attack in less than 12 hours in the city that has left five dead and four wounded.

The first one took place on Wednesday night in a “jugada” located in the El Ranchito neighborhood in the south of Culiacán, where a man was shot and killed while he was playing in the gambling machines.

The clinic in question is a building located on Enrique Sanchez Alonso Boulevard and Rolando Arjona Street, which has a Specialty Hospital sign on its facade.

The events occurred around 6:00 a.m., when the gunmen arrived at the place in a pickup truck and got out to fire their weapons at the building.

The walls of the clinic were damaged due to the bullet impacts.

Multiple percussion casings from long arms were found at the site, with which the attack against the building was carried out.

    1. Thank you ALL that you do, Char… and Happy Thanksgiving!

Have you guys considered doing a weekly tally on what’s going on in Sinaloa? Like losses/arrests on both sides each week and a total count too? 🦉

    2. @10:49__Char goes above and beyond, providing epic contributions. Let's not put to much pressure on him and appreciate what he puts forth. It's a lot of work as it is...no need to request extra side dishes when the main course is sufficient.

    3. Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you guys can get more inside info on the conflicts escalating in Mazatlán that the government tries to hide through partial or full media blackouts.
They also are claiming all is safe to bring tourists and keep hiding all events in the Zona Dorada from having the full information published.

  2. A hit and run on a Chapizas business. Either the hawks missed this crew or chapiza sicarios weren't fast enough to respond. Culican and Mazatlan are lucrative plazas but they aren't border crossings and those are what made the Sinaloan cartel and Culican wealthy. I am sure the belligerents have their narco trafficking $$$ throttled but the question is to what extent and how much can they choke each others $$$ flows. War is expensive.

  3. Trump team talking intervention on cartels, from clandestine special forces missions to kill cartel leaders to direct military boots on the ground with bases. We'll see how Miss Mossad Sheinbaum reacts.

    1. I think 100 percent special forces will hit the cartels hard. Won't destroy them completely but will do some damage. On youtube plenty of retired seals and delta force that want to come out of retirement to fight the cartels. Cartels will definitely kills seals and unit members but the cartels will definitely get their assessment kicked. Sicario 006 better be ready lmao

    2. Can’t have a base in a country without permission. He’s only talking to rile up his fanbase. As soon as he gets in office it will be golfing everyday, like last time. He golfed more in 4 years than Obama did in 8.

    3. Rambo trump will take care of the Mexican cartels by himself. He’s so tough like what he did to Vietcong during Vietnam war, oh I forgot he skips cause he had bone spurs,

    4. That's not happening
US needs to focus on the drug users and cartels on their side of the border.
Trump is all talk and you dummies believe him lol
What happened to the wall that Mexico was supposedly going to pay for? That wall is a joke just like the trump supporters

    7. When did he say this??? I've heard him say that if Mexico didn't cooperate he was going to put dirty politicians on blast. And I heard him say that he would put tariffs on Mexican imports until Mexico gets its act together regarding the cartels. But since he won the election I haven't heard him speak nor any reports of him mentioning anything like that.
