Mexico City - In a joint communiqué issued today, December 23, the security cabinet reported on the most important actions carried out last weekend, from December 20 to 22.

The deactivation of a 'narco-laboratory' in Cosalá, Sinaloa, stands out.

“In Sinaloa, elements of the Semar and FGR located and neutralized a clandestine laboratory with an economic impact on organized crime of 2 million 31 thousand 960 dollars,” states the bulletin.

This clandestine laboratory was located in the vicinity of the town of Bacatá, thanks to intelligence work. Precursor chemicals and synthetic drug preparation equipment were found at the site, and the following were secured:

  • 140 kilograms of methamphetamine
  • 500 liters of precursors
  • 100 kilograms of essential chemicals
  • Miscellaneous material
  • “The laboratory and precursors were destroyed on site,” the document explains.

In more military intelligence operations, Mexican Army personnel dismantled 4 concentration areas in which 2,100 liters of various substances for the manufacture of methamphetamine were seized, which represents an economic blow of 46 million pesos to criminal groups.

While in Culiacan, agents of the Secretary of the Navy (Semar) and the Attorney General's Office (FGR) “located and neutralized a clandestine laboratory with chemical precursors and additives for the manufacture of synthetic drugs, seized 1,300 kilograms of methamphetamine, 22,760 kilograms of chemical substances used for the manufacture of synthetic drugs, six reactors, two distillers and other material, in the vicinity of the town of Corral Viejo”.


More security actions carried out in Sinaloa
During the aforementioned period, different operations were carried out with the following results:

“In Culiacán, elements of the Mexican Army secured a vehicle, 85 ponchallantas and chargers for radio communication equipment,” highlights the security cabinet.

“In Culiacan, elements of the Mexican Army, GN and FGR, searched a property where they secured 98 kilos and 1,260 liters of methamphetamine, 200 liters of ethyl alcohol, 169 liters of acetone, six liters of hydrochloric acid, material used for the production of methamphetamine, 209 cartridges and two vehicles,” they add.

The above represents 396 million pesos, affecting criminal groups in the state.

Also in the capital city, the Mexican Army located a vehicle where 3 long arms, 3 short arms, 29 magazines and 715 cartridges were found.

“In another action, in the same municipality, elements of the Mexican Army found a vehicle, where they secured two long arms, 13 magazines, 660 cartridges, marijuana and a tactical vest,” it is reported.

And in the same city “elements of the Mexican Army and GN detained a person aboard a vehicle and seized 3,000 cartridges”.

In the municipality of El Rosario, 3 persons were detained who were in possession of:

  • 3 long arms
  • 1 Barrett rifle
  • 8 magazines
  • 395 cartridges
  • 1 ballistic vest
  • 2 ballistic plates
  • On the other hand, in Mazatlan, as a result of intelligence information, members of the Navy, the Army and the FGR raided a home in the vicinity of the Francisco Villas neighborhood, where they seized

  • 1 long weapon
  • 1 short weapon
  • 1,157 cartridges
  • 7 grenades
  • 11 ballistic vests
  • 4 ballistic helmets
  • 10 uniforms
  • 2 pairs of boots
  • 45 magazines
  • 1 grenade launcher attachment
  • Various doses of marijuana
  • 9 vehicles
  • 1 jet ski


“In the municipality of Elota, as a result of intelligence information, personnel from the Semar and the Ministerial Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC) executed a search warrant where 312 marijuana plants were seized in the Centro neighborhood,” the statement said.

  6. This was another staged bust by MF and the government. These busts where most likely part of the agreement they had when the alliance was formed. This keeps the government happy and gives the illusion to the public that the government is winning against the cartels. It also gives the new Mexican president something to show Trump when he takes office. This bust might prevent Trump from sending U.S special forces to Mexico. All of that crystal ice sure makes it look a lot like Christmas! Nuff Said!!!

    1. Actually only 3 were arrested, read the article again. Its hart to phantom with all those multi raids only 3 were arrested.
      This is a good propaganda for Claudia Sienbuam to present to Trump. She and her speechwriter are going to sugarcoat it and say the Military arrested 35.
