FOLLOW-UP: None of the seven bodies from the plane that crashed in Quitupan have been identified, nor have they been handed over to their families: Jalisco

The State Prosecutor's Office indicated that no one has come forward to claim the bodies.

More than 24 hours after the crash of an aircraft in the municipality of Quitupan, none of the bodies have been delivered to their relatives, according to sources from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The bodies were taken to the regional forensic headquarters around noon on Monday, and later processing began to obtain genetic samples for identification.

Until Monday night, the bodies were not yet delivered to their relatives, however, through social networks, some possible names of the crew members of the Cessna 207 light aircraft, registration number XB-MLO, began to circulate.

One of the deceased was pre-identified as Juan de Dios Fr铆as Villalobos, son of the former municipal president of Tepalcatepec, Uriel Fr铆as, and nephew of Juan Jos茅 “El Abuelo” Far铆as.
Some other names of the possible identities of the rest of the victims have been circulated through social networks, however they have not been confirmed by any authority.

On Sunday afternoon, the aircraft crashed in the town of Palo Verde, in the municipality of Quitupan.

According to the State Civil Protection Unit of Jalisco, the plane left the town of La Parota, in Huetamo, Michoacan, but later suffered an accident and fell in a property in the municipality of Jalisco.
