Four men who were found dead in the bullring of Agua Caliente de Gárate, in the municipality of Concordia, Sinaloa, have already been identified by their relatives.

According to local media, the victims, all from this municipality, had gunshot wounds and signs of torture. Three of them had been deprived of their freedom on December 12, while the fourth was kidnapped on Tuesday morning prior to the discovery.

Línea Directa indicated that the bodies were located in the bullring of the community, a place that became the scene of this multiple crime. After the processing of the scene by the forensic and investigative staff of the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), where they were later identified by their relatives.

The victims include Mauricio “C,” who was wearing shorts; Axel Ricardo “H,” identified by wearing navy blue pants and a shirt of the same color; and Carlos “L,” who was wearing navy blue pants and a sweatshirt.

These three men had been kidnapped during the early hours of December 12, during the festivities of the Day of the Virgin. On the other hand, the fourth man, identified as Armando “T,” was deprived of his freedom on Tuesday morning in the same community. The latter was found with his hands tied behind his back and obvious signs of torture. The media outlet Línea Directa detailed that, after the discovery of the bodies, several families from the municipality went to the Semefo in the hope of obtaining information about their missing loved ones. It was there that the identity of the victims was confirmed, who were dedicated to bricklaying and taking care of pigs, according to relatives.

It should be noted that along with the bodies a narco-banner was found with a threat to people who supported Ismael Zambada Sicairos, alias El Mayito Flaco, son of El Mayo Zambada.

“This will happen to everyone who plays along, cooperates and works for: Jaime Estrada Gonzalez, alias “El Ing”, Ismael Castañeda Gonzalez alias “Mayel”, Juan Castañeda Gonzalez alias El Furcio”, who support and work for the Mayos MF (sic)”, reads the banner.

The state of Sinaloa experienced a day marked by violence last Thursday, December 19, with the registration of seven investigation files for intentional homicide, according to the Attorney General of the State of Sinaloa. In total, the bodies of eleven people were located in different parts of the state, which shows a worrying escalation in crime rates.

In addition to the homicides, the Attorney General reported on other crimes that also affected the population during the same day. In the Specialized Unit for Vehicle Theft in the Central Region, nineteen complaints were filed for vehicle theft, all of them duly registered in investigation files. On the other hand, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Forced Disappearance of Persons reported five complaints in the municipality of Culiacán for the crime of deprivation of personal liberty.
