La Chapiza or Los Chapos captured an alleged MF Group member who was sent to El Diez south of Culiacan, Sinaloa, on a special mission. The captive, who was interrogated by La Chapiza on video for about five minutes, is named Jose Rodriguez Cachuya. Mr. Rodriguez, who is from Tijuana, traveled from Tijuana to Sinaloa via bus. The La Chapiza interrogator stated that his nickname is El Balu and challenged the La Mayiza Cartel operatives El Meño or 4x1, El Terror, and El Lucas to find him.

Captive: Every two weeks.

Captive: Don’t bother lying to people claiming things are going to be easy here when it’s not. Everyone is told that they’d receive so much but instead got paid very little. We were sent into the fire in vain.

Captive: Well, they shouldn’t be running away but they’re also leaving us to fend for ourselves.
