They are a male and a female feline, approximately 13 and 5 years old, respectively.

Two white Bengal tigers were rescued after a military operation carried out in the Barrancos sector in Culiacán.

According to Ernesto Zazueta Zazueta, president of the Ostok Sanctuary, IAP, the tigers are a male and a female of approximately 13 and 5 years of age.

The cats were taken into the custody of the Ostok Sanctuary, where they were mobilized for medical attention and will receive necessary care while their legal status is being determined.

According to Zazueta Zazueta, Santuario Ostok has rescued 11 big cats in the midst of the wave of violence in Sinaloa.

“We are talking about two white tigers, a male of approximately 12 or 13 years old and a female of about 5 years old. During the operation, our veterinary team performed chemical containment to ensure the safe handling of the animals,” he said.

“They were transferred to Ostok to ensure their health and while there is the legal process, the animals do not suffer the consequences of what is happening, of the seizure and everything that is happening here in Culiacán. What we are doing is moving them, giving them adequate care while their fate is being decided”.

    1. Mexico does not shed any tears over animal rights . Unlike Americans they dont try to humanize animals, a dog is a dog a horse is a horse . While Americans will trample to death a homeless disabled veteran to save a dog’s life is beyond me. I’m an animal lover myself, and I feel some sort of way when I witness animals suffering but I don’t kid myself and pretend that my dog’s life is more important than my neigbor’s no matter how much I dislike her. I would be a very pathetic, sad and /or childish individual if I thought otherwise.

    3. They haven't. Their government puts on a full smoke and flashing lights magic show to make it seem they have made advancements when more who are hidden from the world's eye intentionally are far worse off now than a few decades ago with the narcogovernment stealing their land and ranchs, still intentionally keeping the population under educated in order to control them easier, and still using dictator style silencing techniques on the population and media. They try to push keeping their sovereignty and protecting their culture, but it's all just a ploy to keep other nations out from seeing how corrupt and mismanaged the country is. Most large cities don't even have an actual fire department besides what foreigners donate yearly but then act like they are a high end advanced tourist destination or city.

You said “in the civilized world”. Sadly this leaves Mexico out of the equation (unless we want to fool ourselves and pretend that a country where teenagers are decapitated and tortured with no consequences, a country where there are more than 30.000 homicides per year, is “civilized”. Things like the funky town video or the father and son video in Guerrero you don’t see them even in Siria, not to mention the countless girls kidnapped, smuggled, raped, killed. A very civilized country).

  4. I had no idea that there where this many tigers owned by cartel members in Culiacan. They probably own more tigers than that idiot Joe Exotic on Tiger King. The military needs to check the tigers stomach contents. Ivan is known for feeding his tigers human captives. If they find a finger in their stomach they can perform a DNA analysis and find out who it was. Nuff Said!!!

    1. 99% of murders go unsolved in Mexico I highly doubt they will go through all the trouble to perform a DNA analysis on a freaking tiger to see if they ate a human🤣🤣🤣 Nerf Said!!!!
