Possible La Familia Michoacana Officer Arrested in Itzapalapa, Mexico City

Luis Manuel "El Galletas", identified by different sources as a leader of a local gang or possibly a member of La Familia Michoacana, was arrested by authorities while smoking marijuana on the streets of Itzapalapa, Mexico City

El Galletas was arrested by a routine patrol while he was sitting in his white Mazda smoking marijuana in Itzapalapa in southern Mexico City reported Excelsior. Authorities found a firearm, ammunition, drugs for dealing, and a vest with the ensignia of La Familia Michoacana.
 


Some news media sources have suggested he is a member of La Familia Michoacana, but this has not been proven.

    Smoking marijuana is not legal in Mexico. This dummy had a weapon on him and drugs but decided to smoke weed to attract the attention of the police. I swear my little son Duffy has more smarts than this guy. How is it not proven that he is from La Familia Michoacana? Doesn't having a vest with the cartel letters prove it? Pretty obvious to me. Nuff Said!!!

    Pot smoking is supposed to be legal in Mexico. But it’s just a way for the cops to get a mordida.
