The announcement comes a day after the United States designated Tren de Aragua, the Sinaloa Cartel and other drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
The other listed entities are the Cartel del Golfo, La Familia Michoacana, Carteles Unidos and Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generaci贸n.
Missing from the list of 8 designated groups by the US is CDN or Cartel del Noreste. The US State Department also referred to this group as Los Zetas.
