Four Bodies, Including CFE Workers, Found in Oaxaca After Being Kidnapped in Veracruz

By "El Huaso" for Borderland Beat

Four men, three of them state electrical company (CFE) workers, were kidnapped by an armed group early this week in Tierra Blanca, Veracruz. Their bodies were found next to an abandoned CFE truck on a stretch of highway in rural Oaxaca last night.

In a press release, the Attorney Generals Office of Oaxaca (FGEO), who is taking on the investigation, identified the men by their initials: F.A.V., J.V.R., A.B. and J.M.N.. Based on interviews, the FGEO confirmed that three of them were workers of the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Mexico's state electrical company.

The electrical workers union they belonged to, Sindicato Unico de Trabajadores Electricistas de la Republica Mexicana, (SUTERM) later confirmed their full names.

FGEO Press Release

Why are CFE workers targeted in Mexico?

CFE workers are often targeted by criminal groups in Mexico who attempt to extort local businesses as well as the CFE, reports InSight Crime. In 2017, CFE executive Gustavo Cuevas told the newspaper Reforma that criminals will approach businesses and order them to pay their electrical bills to the criminal group, instead of the CFE. Then, the criminal group will threaten CFE workers demanding that they continue providing electricity for free.

We will ship you off for processing outside Mexico.
If you're good people, and not in league with the evil cartels, you get to come home, pure and simple.
Youse can try to resist, but Mexican gun laws are strict all youse got are machetes.
Try to think things out more clearly.

    1. Before the term "cartels" became the medias word of the day, Mexico dealt with "bandas" "bandas de extorcionadores" "banda de asaltantess" "bandas de roba autos" "Banda de traficantes" etc. It was very specific to what they did. For the most part, back then, criminals stayed in their lane, matter of fact, there were fueds amongst them because one thought they were more righteous than the other. Now the media has labeled everyone and every crime as a "cartel" or "cartel related". The medias target audience are the retarded asses like yourself who go along with it because for starters, you're not familiar with the culture, and two, you're easily mislead. Don't worry though, it's not you're fault. I've gotten the same reaction from people in every country I've traveled to, "is it true there's always mass shootings in the U.S malls and schools and parades and concerts?"

  4. The easiest and best way to fight this is that all business owners need to stop using electricity. They need to buy candles and flashlights. Very simple. Nuff Said!!!
