From an Infobae Article Interviewing Security Expert David Saucedo

Not surprisingly, the Mexican criminal groups included in the list are the main exporters of fentanyl to the United States (CDS and CJNG); the two cartels with the largest presence on the Texas border (CDG and CDN); and the cartel (LNFM) recently included in the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) list for manufacturing and shipping fentanyl across the Tamaulipas border.
The designation that surprised many was that of the United Cartels or Carteles Unidos, a criminal alliance that has its center of operations in the Tierra Caliente of Michoacán and includes among its ranks Los Viagras, Los Blancos de Troya, the Tepalcatepec Cartel, the Zicuirán Cartel, among other cells that once belonged to La Familia Michoacana and the Knights Templar.
One of these cases was the murder of Gloria Ambriz and Rafael Cardona, both US citizens who were murdered on December 11, 2024 when they traveled to Michoacán to visit their relatives, the municipal president of Angamacutiro.
"The incorporation of the United Cartels is due to the fact that they disrupted and affected the interests of the United States : the price of avocados, the arrest of inspectors, extortion, protectionist payments and attacks against American citizens living in Michoacán," stressed David Saucedo.

The Crime That Caught the US' Attention
On June 14, 2024, two members of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) were detained and beaten by alleged criminals after a protest that took place in the municipality of Paracho.
The case prompted the U.S. Embassy in Mexico to issue a Level 4 Alert for its workers to stay away from the region; meanwhile, the Association of Avocado Producers of Mexico (Apeam) and the U.S. Government reported that the import of the so-called green gold was suspended as of June 15.
“Cárteles Unidos made a fatal mistake by participating in the arrest of phytosanitary inspectors who were supervising the shipment of avocado shipments from Michoacán to the United States,” recalled journalist and security analyst David Saucedo, in an interview with Infobae Mexico.
Saucedo added that in addition to the extortion and protection charges committed by the United Cartels of Michoacán, some U.S. citizens have suffered threats and attacks from criminal groups.

I hope Trump follows through and destroys the cartels while working on stemming addiction in the US.
ReplyDeletewon't work. think about it. unless you genocide the whole country they are gonna make and sell drugs.
DeleteSorry he's too busy crashing the economy.
DeleteYou don’t know shit.
DeleteWon’t work my ass.
Bury your face in the sand with your ass up so I can park my bike in it you snowflake.
Snowflake but being a keyboard warrior @4:57 tough guy hahaha no wonder you guys always brag about guns you’ll get whooped in a fight easily. You wouldn’t even last a round puñetas. Wait till President Musk gets rid of the 2nd amendment yall won’t do shit but bend over for him MAGA
DeleteHillbilly Joe, make me some moonshine.
DeleteSpeak English motherfucker.
DeleteYou sound like a dumba ass.
1106
Delete"dumba" ain't English, foolio!
Ok coolio!
DeleteWar on drugs = biggest joke . Cartels not the problem. We are! Sakler family cartel Ⓜ️Ⓜ️
DeleteNext time don’t glorify degenerate singers like Janis Joplin, Grace Slick and Jimi Hendrix. Thats why your shitty culture glamorizes drug abuse
DeleteJanis Joplin, who could sing the blues, dead at 27
DeleteDitto jimi Hendrix, but boy, could that cat play guitar!
Grace Slick, girl vocalist of Jefferson Airplane, still going strong in her 80's!
Ahora si van a ver quien la tiene mas gruesa.
ReplyDeleteChina y Putin. Todos modos ya están en el gobierno americano.
DeleteThat's Koo foo
DeleteOuch.
Delete4:58 Julia!
DeleteWell we could wipe out all the existing cartel leaders and organizations.
ReplyDeleteThat might have an effect.
Look what Israel did to Gaza.
Now it’s going to become a resort.
Win win.
@4.07. It'll reap a whirlwind even if they manage to sell it as a success in the short term. So many innocents will die because they aren't interested in targeting the money- Trump respects money- , they're targeting the poor losers with low IQs exploited by the traffickers. He thinks wiping out 30 young women in a drug lab that took 3 days to set up will slow down production? He'll get his headlines when a couple of real bosses are hit, making no difference, and the next president will have to deal with the boomerang.
ReplyDelete“One of these cases was the murder of Gloria Ambriz and Rafael Cardona”

I believe that's the one that someone on here commented about it being fued with mayoress former or present i can't remember.
DeleteWhy did Cheeto Jesus release criminals from Jan 6? Half of the USA concludes that Maga is a cult. Nothing but fantasies. We should actually classified Maga as a death cult. Worse than the cartels. Actually they have something in common. They only listen orders to there leader. More like the knights templar. After all Maga are religious fantastic.
ReplyDeleteDon’t worry Maga is gonna end up the same way like the nazis. They are going to get dismantled by the world.
Deletereligious fantastic
DeleteUSDA, really? Wow. Over here on all food products lines the USDA is in charge of keeping the fecal matter off every product.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bonehead title for a post. You shouldn't have to explain it. Here's a better question: Why aren't ALL cartels included on the list?!? If you have word "cartel" con eso tienes. SoCalj. No seas tan chuntaro, 3er mundista. Who cares what they did. On the list y se acabó!
ReplyDeleteIndeed it was such a stupid title
DeleteI thought Itzli wrote it.
As a native born in Mexico and now a US citizen, please make Mexico into the 51st state.
ReplyDeleteAnother mentally colonized sellout.
Delete10:12pm. How is he a sellout?. He beautifully expressed what many Mexicans and others across the world have desperately asked for, for far too long. As a native born and raised in Mexico from the late 80’s through the 90’s and into the 00’s, I saw a huge change in how the whole drug thing operated. Not sure if you have any knowledge either empirical or otherwise on any of these but going off on someone like that it's awfully ignorant. I share the same feeling with the original comment and I can see a whole lot of frustration to the point that there is a need for foreign intervention. Over 400k Mexicans have been killed in this ordeal, does that strings any nerves??. What a society we live in where we care more about semantics than the very lives of other human beings.
DeleteMexicans that had to leave their homeland because of violence should never be belittled. 10:12 Maybe you could go to a hotspot in chiapas or michoacan and let us know how it is. Note put a return to sender stamp and adress on your head before you go. For your sake i hope your south of 18 and grow up one day reguardless of age.
Delete7:55 130+ million people live in México. Has a majority of its citizens been polled regarding them being overtaken? None of the people who comment for the annexation of México are living in the country and are municipal, estatal or federal law enforcement. Enlist and make a change if they care so much, don't just type away on a website.
DeleteIn the area of México my family is from if you don't F around you won't find out. Al buen entendedor pocas palabras. I don't consume drugs so I minimize the possibility of dying from an overdose. Personal choice and responsibility. México too corrupt and unlawful for you? Stay where you feel safe.
11:36. Not sure what the nature of your comment was or what the point of it is. Just prove that you know better than the previous comment and throw in a Spanish saying that has no relevance whatsoever with what you stated earlier. I am Mexican American and have family in both sides and also into the stuff we talk about here. There is no such a thing as “al buen entendedor pocas palabras”. There are kids, innocent kids being murdered now because of the situation down there. What do you tell their parents?” Al buen entendedor pocas palabras?”. You should be more serious with the way you reply to other comments and put some thought into it at least. None of what you have commented or replied makes any sense at all to the topic at hand here. I wonder how long you would survive from where I’m from.
DeleteMy father was in the Mexican military and had a high ranking status. He had to resign because his superiors or other high ranking members were already in bed with the cartels. There is not such a thing as “enlist and make a difference”. You don’t obey orders you’re out and if you’re lucky it’s only you and not your family. You sound such a tough guy talking about something you don’t really know about.
Delete11:36 i don't know what you read i never mentioned annexation i don't believe canada or mexico should give up their sovereignty. I also didn't mention anything about drugs. All i said summed up in one sentence is someone shouldn't be critizied for being forced out of their homeland because of violence and the denigrator should go to a dangerous part of mexico and experience it for themselves. I feel very safe with all my guns which all mexicans should be privy to in mexico to even the odds and not just pea shooters from one store in mexico legally. If they go to work for military mex gov or state gov, can you guarantee they won't be dead for being honest or end up working for criminals. Don't get it crossed amigo.
DeleteYeah don’t worry. His or her comment has no basis on anything real or tangible in any way. I wouldn’t be giving my opinion or mocking someone so strongly about something I truly have no idea of what I’m talking about. I wish everyone had the same logic, we would be able to listen to each other better.
1:56/1:59/4:48 Did you think to ask your "high ranking Mexican military" Father if he had heard this phrase you don't understand?" Your family in México? Google? "A word to the wise is sufficient ". That's the translation.
DeleteHere's the context: the states I have family in are hot with the DTO's. My relatives don't need to tell me in detail what the get down is. No shooting, peeling out, mean mugging, bumping loud music at 3am etcetera. I'm not trying to be the dumb ass that heats up the area. No tablazos.
When did I belittle those who have fled their homeland because of violence? 10:12pm, 11:36am and 4:58pm are my previous comments. Any person that wants his homeland invaded by a foreign country is a sellout traitor. That's my opinion.
Los Viagras are not part of CU anymore. They are allies of CJNG.
ReplyDeletePor pendejos.
ReplyDeletePinches carteles chapulines en michoacan. Un dia estan en contra de las jaliscas y el proximo dia le estan dando las nalgas.
ReplyDelete4:35, You are a fool. Only a small percentage of the Mexican people are in the drug business. That being said, we still have our fair share of criminals. Do you even know the meaning of the word genocide?
ReplyDelete943
DeleteForget the genocide angle..
Them mesican hotties are often in heat, and breed like minks, with plenty of locos eager and willin' to donate their chromosomes for the propagation of la raza. Paisas grow like nettlesome weeds, and will NEVER ever be fully wiped out!
Hopefully Trump follows through and starts drone striking these SOB's The cartels are all terrorists
